Application of High-Alumina Bricks in Glass Melting Furnaces
High-alumina bricks offer high-temperature stability and corrosion resistance for glass furnace shells and crowns.
High-alumina brick is a refractory composed of high-purity alumina, silicates and other materials, offering good high-temperature stability and corrosion resistance. In glass melting furnaces it is mainly used for furnace masonry and linings.
Specifically, high-alumina bricks can be used in the following areas:
Furnace shell: High-alumina bricks are widely used for the inner lining and outer masonry of glass furnace shells. Thanks to their high-temperature stability and corrosion resistance, they effectively resist attack by molten glass and other corrosive substances, ensuring stable furnace operation.
Furnace crown: High-alumina bricks can also be used for crown masonry and lining. The crown is typically exposed to high temperature, pressure and corrosion; the high strength and corrosion resistance of high-alumina brick protect it effectively from this damage.
Overall, using high-alumina bricks in glass melting furnaces improves refractoriness and stability, safeguarding production efficiency and product quality.
